So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions

And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God

Hence, Sacred Scripture must never be divorced from Sacred Tradition for several compelling reasons. These traditions provide the necessary interpretive framework that helps us understand the Scriptures accurately.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth,
the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him
